As we all know, “it takes a village” to achieve any significant goal. What we are doing at PFX Athletics to open the doors of opportunity for women and girls through sport is no exception. Whether it is managing one of the Nation’s most prestigious softball complexes or running THE Spring Games or hosting a collegiate National Championship or bringing to Florida Olympic and Professional Fastpitch softball players to work with our community youth, we could not achieve what we do alone. This page is a special “thank you” to the businesses and individuals who help us!
If you would like to partner with us at Legends Way Ballfields or at any of our events, please contact Alison Strange for more information on how we can work together! For anyone who wishes to make a difference through a donation toward our mission, please click HERE.
South Lake Hospital
Presenting Sponsor of THE Spring Games
Have you noticed the improvements to THE Spring Games over the past few years? We couldn’t do it alone! South Lake Hospital has been a huge supporter of THE Spring Games from the very beginning. A community hospital like no other, South Lake supports several community programs including, but not limited to, women’s medical research, preventative health, overall wellness, and sports-specific studies and partnerships.
Gary A Leland
What a great supporter of PFX Athletics Gary has been! Between his coverage of the 2015 and 2016 Spring Games, his insight on equipment and gear for our travel ball teams and youth programs, and his help with our website, we are Gary’s biggest fans! Be sure to sign up for his Fastpitch Magazine, follow him on Facebook and Twitter, and register for more FREE fastpitch information at www.Fastpitch.TV.
The City of Clermont
Police and Fire Services
Feeling safe is such an important part of attending large events! It is common to see the police and fire crews at Legends Way Ballfields – just checking in – enjoying the games and making sure all is well. In the photo above, you can see Officer Drew Evans from the Clermont Police Department on his bike at the 2015 Spring Games. When you see the police or fire officers at the fields, make sure to say “hi” and “thank you” for all they do to keep us safe!
The Sermons on the Mound
In 2015, PFX Athletics introduced a new concept to the college events we host at Legends Way: The Sermon on the Mound. Supported by local churches and religious organizations including, but not limited to Real Life Church, Youth With a Mission (YWAM), and the Life Church at South Lake, these programs allow coaches, players, and parents to have the benefit of both sports and religion while they play ball. Email BBorak@PFXAthletics.com for more information on The Sermon on the Mound.
