In August of 2015, PFX Athletics introduced a new girls travel softball program in Central Florida: a college softball prep team called “the Athletics.” The goal of Team PFX is to instill the following character traits and skills in young ladies:
so that these young ladies ultimately develop into what we lovingly refer to as “flying lions.” Picture that!

The primary goal and objective of this program is to help these student-athletes identify, plan, and execute their life plans for college and beyond. For us, this program is about more than just “getting a college scholarship;” it’s much bigger than that (though it is, for most, the primary objective that draws athletes to our program). Key elements of participation on Team PFX include developing skills around communication and commitment. As professionals in business, PFX Athletics recognizes that these skills will support the graduates of the Athletics program long after they stop playing softball.
While we like winning very much and it drives us as individuals and coaches, we recognize that this program, this sport, this opportunity to connect with these young ladies is about much more than just winning softball games and getting college scholarships. It’s about life. It’s about the future of our nation. It’s about making a difference.
Team PFX trains in Clermont at Legends Way Ballfields at the National Training Center.
